I made this bag with an old pair of jeans.
The handles are the legs of the trousers.
Inside there is a double pocket and a keychain in a ribbon.
Pois, estas calças nao resistiram a uma partida de futebol. Mas a vida continua na versao saco.
It is very simple. I’ve done a lot of shorts and a little shoes.
Inside, there is pattern pieces so it is easy to sew the project.
I sew this shorts to my son and the pink one to a little princess.
I’ m so happy because I though it was very difficult but it is not.
Look, they are very nice!
These pillows are filled with rice.
They are suitable for heat and cold application, it helps upon headache, stomachache and tensions. They can be used to heat baby’s bed.
To heat the pillow, just put it in the microwave for 1-3 min..When you remove it from there, be sure it is not too hot.
To cool the pillow, put it into a plastic bag and freeze it for 30-60 min.in the freezer.
They have a cover removable so that you can wash it if you want .
You can fill a tube sock with rice and than tie the open side and you have a rice pillow in a minute without sewing.
pillows to heat in microwave should be in cotton , flannel, velvet…the most soft as possible.
Last week I was making a carnival mask.
Here where I live everyone loves Carnival. Lots of people participates in a parade wearing beautiful costumes, dancing and singing. Each day have a different event and everyone have fun.
This is my mask, I did it in leather and it was very easy. I visited many sites related with Carnival costumes and I found this mask in www.marthastewart.com. I didn’t paint very much but they become very nice with lots of colors. Why don’t you try making one mask?
A BAG ORGANIZER is another thing I made with this lively and very Brazilian fabric. I think it is very cheerful.
I did this card wallet with my Chita. It is small but has enough space to hold all that store/credit cards that we have now. In this card wallet I always find the card I need at the moment.
Chita began to be produced in Brazil, which made it very cheaply. The production remains at full capacity until the present day.
Being cheap, has very colorful patterns chita fell in popular taste, but also has been valued at decoration. On crafts, the chita is used to line nearly everything: tables, chairs, trays, pillows…
I visited some sites and this is what I saw…beautiful!
I think the towels have some “fuxico”, that little flowers on the top, it’s also a trademark of Brazil.
Look what I found in my closet.
Chita from Brazil … so much colour! fantastic!
It was created in India and Europeans brought it to Brazil around 1800.
I’ve done an organizer with chita but I’m going to do something else because I love these bright colours.
